November/December Newsletter

Hello all…
Its been an action packed month again at The Woodland Adventure Co, with running Bushbabies in the park, celebrating lots  of Birthday Parties and being nominated for the Little Vikings Awards Finals in 3 categories! Thank you to everyone for your votes.

Bushbabies are feeling very festive now and we are happy to announce that we will be running two Christmas Special’s at our site near Stamford Bridge on Saturday 19th December at 1:30pm and Monday 21st December at 10am! I can safely say that these are indeed very special sessions! Adam has spent many weeks designing, making and planning so we hope that you will come along and experience the magic!

Both sessions will have the same theme ‘The Force Awakens’ and are suitable for 3-6 year olds. Your little one will be trained by Obi Wan Kenobi and track through the forest of Endor on the quest for the lost Light sabers! Whilst the magic is taking place there will be home made mince pies and some non alcoholic mulled wine for the adults!! Your child will also get to take home their own unique handcrafted Light saber to keep. What a great Christmas present!! Tickets for this session are £20 per child, there is no additional cost for adults (sorry this is more than we usually charge, however it is due to the cost of the Light sabers and materials). The Christmas Specials will be available to book on Thursday 3rd December on our website.

In the New Year Bushbabies will be running one public session each 4-6 weeks on a Saturday morning at Stamford Bridge. These sessions will primarily be for 2-6 year olds, however if you are interested in sessions for 6-11 year olds, please let us know and if we have enough numbers we will run it.

We are also pleased to introduce Caroline  Couture Cakes to our website. A fantastic, dedicated and enthusiastic cake maker, we highly recommend her if you are looking for a cake for your little ones birthday party or any other special occasion.

This month we also raised £250 for Ben’s fund, Ben is battling cancer and as I mentioned in the last newsletter we ran a session to raise money for him. Sadly he was unable to make it due to his treatment, however a lovely time was had by his school friends. You can find out more about Ben’s fund here:

Bushbabies in the Park will be running in January on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in York and hopefully Tuesdays in Harrogate, dates will be on the website soon. There are still places available if you have pre-schoolers that you would like to bring. Bushbabies in the Park was recently reviewed and recommended by Little Vikings, take a look at the review here:

Lastly, as always we would like to thank you all for your continual support and we hope to see you at some of our public sessions soon!

Wishing you a very happy Christmas.

Marie and Adam […]
