Firstly we would like to say welcome to our new website and the new name ‘The Woodland adventure company’ we hope you like it!
Secondly we want to say a massive thank you to all of our loyal supporters, followers and attendees, without you none of what we do would be possible. It is really important to us that children have access to nature and we are so pleased that so many of you share in this enthusiasm and ideal, come sun, rain or even snow!
Under the new name we are running the ever popular and much loved Bushbabies Woodland Adventures – magical sessions for the 2-6 year olds and also Bushcraft Woodland Adventures for the slightly older 6-11 year olds. Information on both of these can be found in the activities section of our website.
A very exciting bit of news is the opening of our very own woodland near Stamford Bridge. It is an incredibly tranquil, relaxing and stimulating area of woodland that creates a peaceful ambient and a real feeling of escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life. We invite you to come and see it for yourselves at our new and extensive range of Summer sessions, that are available for both Bushbabies and Bushcraft Woodland Adventures. With the new website its so simple you can book easily online!
The new area of woodland also has a small cafe that will be open at most of our birthday parties and summer sessions, providing warm and cold drinks that add to the relaxation and welcome of our sessions. We also have a wood fired pizza oven that cooks beautiful home made pizzas in 2 minutes!
So all in all it is a little place of tranquility that allows you to reconnect with the wonders of the outdoors and we really look forward to seeing you there!
We also have 2 new team members spreading the availability of our exciting sessions even further! We would like to introduce to you Tanya and Kate, two incredibly skilled outdoor enthusiasts who have loads of experience of working with children in a creative way (more information on them will soon be available in the about section of the website).
I am also a new addition to the Woodland Adventure Company and I am also lucky enough to be Adam’s wife! Having been there when Bushbabies was just an idea it has been a privalage for me to watch it grow and develop over the years. I have loved being inspired by Adam’s passion for nature and its essential role in the social and emotional development of children. I am now fortunate enough to be at his side running the cafe, developing the business and doing the administration and I look forward to meeting all of you in the future!
