Terms and Conditions of booking:
The children who attend the Woodland Adventure Co will be in a woodland environment. They will be participating in practical woodland activities, which may involve using sharp and/or heavy tools, making rockets, whittling sticks, bow and arrow firing, building dens, cooking on a fire, and drinking hot drinks under the guidance of a qualified Woodland Adventure Company leader.
Whilst the Woodland Adventure Co have taken all reasonable steps to minimise the risk involved in such activities, it is important to be aware, the nature of such activities means that some risk will always remain. Woodlands have their own natural risks, such as uneven footing, branches etc. the Woodland Adventure Co take safety very seriously and regularly review their risk assessments to ensure that the safety of those who attend is prioritised. We also hold Public Liability insurance.
Please be aware, children must be supervised by an adult when onsite and also when arriving and leaving the site.
General Cancellations:
School holiday sessions:
Refunds, minus the booking fee, will only be given if the place/s can be filled or if the Woodland Adventure Company need to cancel. If you need to cancel, you can also ‘gift’ your session to a friend or relative, we will simply need to be informed of the parent and child attending.
Birthday parties/Events:
Deposits are non-refundable.
Parties/events cancelled within 4 weeks of the date of the party/event will be charged in full.
If we need to cancel a party/event then we will refund the full amount including deposit, or we can rearrange an alternative date which is suitable to both parties.
Weather cancellations:
Birthday parties, events and school holiday sessions will not be able to run when extreme weather make it unsafe to proceed, for example gale force winds. This will be at the discretion of the Woodland Adventure Co. If this happens, we will contact you immediately and discuss the option of moving the party/event/session or refunding the full cost to you.
Car parking:
We only have 20 car spaces available in the car park. There is an overflow carpark at Primrose Hill nursery 100m down the road. From here you can walk on the wide verge next to the road to arrive at the site.
We cannot accept responsibility for any accidents that occur in transit to the site. This also includes walking from the overflow parking.
Vehicles are left in our car park and at the overflow car park at their own risk.
